Our club is dedicated to car enthusiasts in the Iowa and Illinois area. All registration fee's from our annual car show are given to the Freedom Celebration Committee for the City of Colona Fireworks Fund. All other proceeds from our annual car show have been donated to several charitable organizations in our area over the years such as the Colona Food Pantry and the Make a Wish Foundation. We also donate donate throughout the year to several other parties of interest such as; Colona Fire & Police Appreciation Dinner, Old Soldiers Home (Quincy), Colona Lioness Make a Difference Fund, New Kingdom Trail Riders, Red Cross Flood Relief of 2008, Scott County Humane Society, Rock Island County Animal Shelter, and the Alzheimer's Association. We have also given to several charity events such as the Bruce Haney and Kim Williams Fund Raiser, Moline High School Class of "59" Scholarship Fund. However, the Colona Food Pantry being our major charity as well as the Watertown Food Pantry has received a total of $39,000.00 since 2003 from the Rock River Rodders. This year we are pleased to announce that we have made a donation to the Colona Food Pantry in the amount of$4000.00!!! as well for the third year in a row we have decided to also give $1300.00 to the Water Town Food Pantry of East Moline. Proceeds from several of our club raffles were used for these donations. The Rock River Rodders would like to thank everyone who purchased even one ticket to make this a success. We also hope that this will be of use to the many who are in need in our community.
