Rock River Rodders make donation to food pantry November 17th 2011

  For the ninth year in a row, the Rock River Rodders have made a large donation to the Colona Food Pantry. Hazel Sletten, pantry director, shown third from the left, recently accepted the $4,000.00 donation from club members from the left Bob King, Dennis Martin, Ivan Walters, Leroy Woolley, Todd Petersen, and Bill McDaniel. Members absent was Mike Hodshire and Gib DeKoster.

To Our Dear Angels in Black Jackets, "The Rodders". I'm really behind in my Thank You's, kinda had the Flu Bug. You are all just Great Guys, and so are your wives plus your cars. Your $ 4,000.00 really did help out a lot this year. We've  had so many new families this past week, there was a young man and his little girl came in for food and when he got his food he turned to his little girl and said, "come on honey we can go home and eat now. - How great we had food to give them.
