Rock River Rodders make donation to food pantry January 3rd 2007

  Members of the Rock River Rodders car club once again made a donation to the Colona Food Pantry, donating a check for $4,000 plus canned goods, totaling $5,000. Pantry operator Hazel Sletten calls the men her 'angels in black jackets.' Ms Sletten said 'the men come through in time for the holidays. At the rate its going, there wouldn't be a food pantry without the Rock River Rodders contributing.' Although the club donate and take care of other groups and individuals, the food pantry is their largest recipient. At the food pantry are, from the left: Ivan Walters, Bob King, Gib DeKoster, Bob Showalter, Hazel Sletten, Dennis Martin, LeRoy Woolley and Todd Petersen.

 Hi Guys (The Cars were Beautiful, Got to see them all) Well You done it again Year 2007. You gave over $ 4,000.00 in food and Money. We all so proud of you guys. Boy when you set out to do something You do it up in a big Bang. Boy what a bunch of swell guys. I probably owe you a couple Beers. I'll see what I can come up with. I do have a little slush fund. Not coming from the food Money either. I just don't know about you guys only you all are Great. Ill call you around Thanksgiving for pictures for paper. Again Thanks so Much God Bless each of you.
